On July 3rd 2024, Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq school held a ceremony to receive the French Language Quality Label “Label CELF-A” from the French Embassy in Lebanon.
The event began with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by the Lebanese and French national anthems and the Makassed anthem. Speeches were delivered by Mrs. Sahar Mahfouz, the school principal and Mrs. Sabine Sciortino, Director of the French Cultural Center.
Highlights included a theatrical performance, a student show, a school choir presentation and videos showcasing the teaching of French as a second foreign language over the past six years.
The ceremony concluded with the unveiling of a commemorative plaque.
