The 26th Annual Summer Quran Memorization and Recitation Course concluded on Wednesday afternoon at the Makassed Sabnieh mosque in Baabda. This event, held under the auspices of Makassed Philanthropic Islamic Association in Beirut, was attended by Treasurer and Board Member Engineer Bassam Barghouth, Board Members Dr. Mohammad Sammak and Judge Maysam Noueiry, and was overseen by the mosque’s Imam, Sheikh Hassan Al-Arab.
The ceremony began with a recitation of ten verses from the Holy Quran and featured speeches fitting for the occasion. Generous donations from Mr. Barghouth and Mrs. May Makhzoumi facilitated the distribution of gifts to the 110 participants and eight teachers who took part in this year’s course.
