On June 27th 2024, Khaled Bin Al-Walid College hosted a ceremony to receive the French Language Quality Label “Label CELF-A” from the French Embassy in Lebanon.
The event began with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by the national and Makassed anthems.
Speeches were given by Mrs. Janan Khiewa Al-Qassem, the college principal and Mrs. Sabine Sciortino, Director of the French Cultural Center.
The ceremony included a student theatrical performance and a notable presentation by the Makassed choir. It concluded with the unveiling of a commemorative plaque.
