Makassed Institute for Vocational and Technical Education celebrated the graduation of 119 students for the current academic year. The ceremony, sponsored by Makassed President Dr. Faisal Sinno, began with a Quran recitation, followed by the Lebanese and Makassed anthems.
Attendees included Makassed Board of Trustees members, friends of Makassed, figures from academia, society and media.
Dr. Sinno congratulated the graduates and encouraged them to excel and consider further education. Dr. Adel Damaj, the Institute’s director, highlighted the institute’s role in preparing students with vocational and technical skills, including those necessary for higher education through the Technical Baccalaureate.
The event also featured speeches from alumni and current graduates.
