Makassed University in Beirut held a graduation ceremony for the 2023-2024 academic year at its campus, formerly known as the College of Girls building in Bashoura.
The event began with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by the national and Makassed anthems.
Over fifty graduates from the Higher Institute for Islamic Studies, the Faculty of Education and Teacher Training and the Faculty of Nursing and Health Sciences were honored.
Attendees included Makassed President Dr. Faisal Sinno, Dr. Mazen Al-Khatib, Director General of Higher Education; Dr. Hassan Ghaziri, President of the University; university staff; Makassed Board of Trustees members and the graduates’ families.
The ceremony concluded with the nursing profession oath, the distribution of diplomas and a celebration of the graduates’ achievements.
