Judge Maissam Noweiry is a lecturer at Saint Joseph University (USJ) in Commercial Law and collaborates in general judicial matters with JUSTICIA Beirut Consult Law Firm.
She was the Director-General of the Ministry of Justice (June 2014 – March 2019), and a magistrate nomination in 1973.
She is a Lebanese judge holding a Diploma of Law (includes 2 certificates in French law and Lebanese Law) in 1971, from St-joseph University in Beirut, Ranked number one, and a Master’s Studies in Political Science in 1971- 1972, from the American University of Beirut, and Comparative Law diploma in 1974, “Institut Français de Droit Comparé- Paris.
