HRH Princess Ghida Talal, Chairperson of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center (KHCF and KHCC), inaugurated the Pediatric Cancer Department at Makassed General Hospital.The inauguration took place in the presence Makassed president Dr. Faisal Sinno, Grand Mufti of Lebanon Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian, former PM Tammam Salam, Makassed honorary president Eng. Amin Daouk, president of the Lebanese Press Syndicate Awni Al Kaaki, in addition to Makassed memberd and Members of Parliament as well as Lebanese political, social and cultural figures.The ceremony included a tour of the department with its new modern expansion and the latest medical equipment.Princess Ghida received the Makassed shield as a symbol of appreciation for her continuous cooperation.
