Dr. Fadi Mirza is currently the Director of the Department of Obstetrics at Latifa Hospital of the Dubai Academic Healthcare Corporation (Government of Dubai). He has served for two terms as member of the managing board of the Lebanese Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology and as the Co-Chairperson of the Scientific Committee of the Federation of Arab Gynecology and Obstetrics Societies.
In 2022, he was elected President of the Emirates Fetal Medicine Society and in 2020, he was elected the co-chair of the Scientific Committee of the Arab Association of Obstetrics and Gynecology Societies, and the Vice President of the Lebanese Joint Coalition against Thrombosis.
Dr. Mirza has been an invited speaker, Course Director, and Congress Chairperson at countless national, regional, and international conferences held in different parts of the world, including Bahrain, China, Egypt, France, Iraq, Italy, India, Jordan, Kenya, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Morocco, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Russia, Switzerland, Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, and Vietnam. He received many awards, including the prestigious Award of Research Excellence of the Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine (USA).
In 2002, he received his medical degree from the American University of Beirut, before he relocated to the United States for postgraduate training. He completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Tufts University in Boston. Following his residency, he pursued a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Columbia University in New York. Upon completion of his training, he pursued his medical career at Columbia University Medical Center then the American University of Beirut Medical Center.
