Mrs. Mona Bou Azza Bawarshi is the owner and CEO of Gezairi Transport group of companies — a family-owned freight forwarding, shipping, and logistics company based in Lebanon, and an active licensed customs broker in Lebanon.
She is a founding Member of Injaz, the President of Abdul Salam Bou Azza El-Gezairi Charity Foundation, and a member of the Board of Trustees of Al Makassed Philanthropic Islamic Association of Beirut, and a member of the Board of Trustees of the International College (IC).
She was listed among the Most Influential Arab Women by Forbes in 2013, and Arabian Business.
Mrs. Bawarshi received her Bachelor of Science in 1970 from the American University of Beirut, and in 1977, she continued her studies at the same university, obtaining a Master’s degree in Business Administration and recently a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Kaslik in Lebanon.
