Founded in 1878, Makassed Philanthropic Islamic Association of Beirut is a humanitarian and non-for-profit association which provides efficient and quality services within three sectors: Education, healthcare as well as social and cultural affairs. Makassed seeks to address the needs of society by constantly modernizing its administrative procedures to focus better on the requisites of those who carry out its mission. It devotes particular attention to both its internal and external communication, remaining in close touch with its staff, its beneficiaries and more generally its community whether in Lebanon or abroad.
