- Men’s Barbering Course (2-month duration) with 19 male beneficiaries.
- Cooking Course (2-month duration) with 14 male and female beneficiaries.
Courses in collaboration with IECD
- Sewing Course (3-month duration from September to December 2024) with 20 beneficiaries.
- Cooking Course (1-month duration in October 2024).

- Women’s Beauty Course (2-month duration) with 42 female beneficiaries.
- Cooking Course (1.5-month duration) with 21 male and female beneficiaries.
- Pastry and Chocolate Making Course (1.5-month duration) with 11 male and female beneficiaries.
Collaboration with External Organizations
- Ongoing cooperation with the Robert Mouawad Foundation to provide hot meals to 150 families twice a week.
- Placement of Ward El Makassed products in URBAN Supermarket and Market, with agreements made with Lebanese cooperatives, and products have been placed in stores.
Ward El Makassed Center Activities During the Israeli assault in October 2024, Ward El Makassed Center was transformed into a relief center to assist displaced individuals from the south and the southern suburbs of Beirut. Over this period, the center provided approximately 11,800 hot meals to displaced persons in shelter centers and sewed 2,000 blankets, which were distributed to the displaced.
Future Projects
- Establishment of a new warehouse.
- Creation of new training rooms.
- Expansion of the Ward El Makassed kitchen.
- Construction of a meat and vegetable cold storage room.
- Relocation of the women’s beauty salon to the western side of the center, with a façade facing the main road.
- Preparation of a cafeteria at the center, located in the commercial center, which will open at the beginning of 2025.
