Makassed Ersal School has been awarded the “LABEL-CELF” (Certificat Élémentaire de Langue Française), a certification established by the French Embassy in Lebanon in 2011. This distinction recognizes the school’s commitment to high-quality French language education, particularly through the linguistic expertise of its teachers.

A formal ceremony was held to mark this occasion at the French Cultural Club in the city of Baalbek, attended by Ms. Sabine Sciortino, Director of the French Cultural Center, Mr. Fouad Mneimneh, Director of Rural Schools, and Ms. Dounia Badreddine, Director of the Makassed Monitoring and Evaluation Unit. The ceremony was further distinguished by the presence of the parents, along with members of the school’s leadership team, teachers, and dedicated staff. This certification affirms the school’s leading position in the field of language education and serves as an additional incentive to continue developing educational performance and fostering an environment that supports excellence.
