For the fourth consecutive year, Makassed’s Educational Affairs Department, in coordination with the Activities and Sports Unit and the Islamic Education Unit, organized a series of purposeful educational and recreational activities aimed at promoting the humanitarian and religious values of the holy month of Ramadan.

The activities commenced with a celebratory ceremony honoring the winners of the Ramadan competitions, held at the auditorium of Makassed Khalid Ben Al-Waleed College. The event featured a performance by preschool students titled “Moon Journey,” and another by cycle 1 students titled “Wisdom and Lessons.”

Additionally, this year’s “Makassed Ramadan Tents” event was held under the theme “Stories of the Prophets” at the playground of Lycée Makassed Khadija Al-Kubra. The event included participation from Makassed schools in Beirut, the Imam Al-Ouzai School, and the Learning Disabilities Department. Each school selected a story of one of the prophets throughout history, and students in each tent presented the prophet’s story in an interactive educational manner that combined enjoyment and learning, while highlighting their miracles and the values and lessons drawn from their lives.

Makassed students also excelled in the “Ramadan in Colors” competition, showcasing impressive technological and creative skills in the “Ramadan Tech” challenge. They used artificial intelligence to design images and illustrate stories and video clips, reflecting the themes and values of the blessed month. Furthermore, the Makassed Schools Choir presented celebratory religious songs and chants that spread joy and the Ramadan spirit across various areas in Beirut, including ABC Mall in Verdun and Beirut Souks, in collaboration with MTV Lebanon.
