In celebration of the 147th anniversary of Makassed foundation, the Activities and Sports Unit organized a sports event that brought together students from Makassed schools at the sports fields of Khaled Ben Al-Walid College on February 3rd, 2025.
The event was attended by Makassed President Dr. Faisal Sinno, members of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Ghina Al-Badawi Hafiz, General Director of Educational Affairs, principals and teachers of the Makassed schools, and members of the Educational Affairs unit.
The event began with a display of sports teams, followed by a performance by the Tiny World Makassed Daycare and the Makassed Volunteers Unit, with participation from the Makassed Scouts and a musical performance.
The event included a speech by Makassed President, followed by the signing of the Makassed Flag, which featured the names of Makassed founding members and the presidents who have served since its establishment in 1877, up to the current Presidency of Dr Sinno. The celebration concluded with commemorative photos.
