On June 17, 2025, the Annual Exhibition of the Makassed Institute for Vocational and Technical Education (MVTI) showcased the achievements and innovations of its students. The event was attended by distinguished officials, including Brigadier General Ahmad Saadeh representing the Commander of the Lebanese Armed Forces, former Health Minister Dr. Firas Al-Abiad, Beirut Municipal Council Member Brigadier General Mahmoud Al-Jammal, and members of the Makassed Board of Trustees.
Held in a spirit of pride and accomplishment, the exhibition opened with a performance by the Institute’s choir, followed by speeches from Ms. Diana Tabbara and Dr. Adel Damaj highlighting the importance of vocational and technical education in preparing youth for the labor market. Student projects demonstrated the skills and knowledge gained throughout the academic year.
In support of professional development, Makassed Philanthropic Islamic Association of Beirut announced a cooperation agreement with Rafic Bawwab & Partners to provide hands-on training opportunities for MVTI students. This initiative strengthens the link between education and the job market, equipping students with practical experience for their future careers.
Through these achievements and partnerships, MVTI continues its mission to nurture a capable, creative generation ready to meet modern challenges while embodying the values of Makassed, established over 150 years ago.
