Makassed Khaled Ben Al Walid and Ali Ben Abi Taleb College students in Grades 8 and 10 participated in the “Molawan” Project, a dynamic youth empowerment initiative that uses theatre improvisation and film to help young people express themselves, build confidence, and collaborate effectively. The project aims at empowering students to find their voice, strengthening communication skills, and becoming active, and confident members of their communities. During the sessions, students engaged in theatre improvisation activities, including spontaneous acting, vocal exercises, trust-building games, and creative storytelling, as well as film production, where they learned to bring their stories to life through scripting, acting, filming, and editing. These activities provide a safe and enjoyable environment that encourages self-expression, boosts self-esteem, and fosters critical thinking.
