Maria Nakhle from Makassed Khaled Ben Al-Walid College participated in the sixth edition of the Summer Research Experience in Physics (SREP) 2025, organized by the American University of Beirut (AUB) under the supervision of the Department of Physics and supported by the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. 

This distinguished program brought together 17 outstanding students from various Lebanese schools for a month-long, hands-on research experience. Maria contributed to a scientific project entitled “Nanomaterials” as she worked closely with faculty members and graduate students. Through this experience, she gained exposure to advanced scientific concepts and developed high-level research skills. At the closing ceremony held on Monday, July 28, 2025, Maria presented her research outcomes with confidence and professionalism, reflecting both her passion for science and her dedication to the values of rigorous scientific inquiry.
