Makassed Ali Ben Abi Talib College students participated in the 2025 Science Fair, organized by the National Association for Science and Research on Thursday, May 8, 2025, under the theme “We Innovate to Rise and Prosper.” The event brought together more than 100 schools, with approximately 600 students presenting over 180 scientific projects. During the awards ceremony on Saturday, May 10, 2025, eighth-grade student Khaled Ahmad Itani received the Gold Medal and the prestigious Ali Ismail Harakeh Award for Ethical Innovation and Responsible Leadership, an excellence award of $1,000 which was offered by the EdTech Syndicate in Lebanon. Khaled earned this recognition for his project “The Thermal Generator,” presented in the Physics and Astronomy category, Intermediate Level, Innovation/Invention track, highlighting his dedication to responsible innovation and meaningful technological advancement.
