The Youth Skilling & Employment (YSE) project has continued to advance despite budget constraints and recent escalations. Following the program’s extension in December 2024, the initiative now targets 170 beneficiaries across Beirut and Beqaa through the end of 2025. During early 2025, activities focused on staff recruitment, budget planning, and outreach, including information sessions and career guidance workshops. From March to August 2025, the project successfully delivered Youth Functional Skills (YFS) and Competency-Based Training (CBT) in both regions, offering training in Graphic Design, Hair and Makeup, Secretariat, Sewing, and Childcare Services, along with advanced courses in Graphic Design and Sewing. These efforts were followed by ongoing Cash-for-Work (C4W) training across all tracks. Looking ahead, the project will support nine youth in launching their own business startups, further strengthening pathways to sustainable employment.
